TWO MONTH UPDATE:

Started well, but in two months I’ve started getting tons of false alarms, even when zones aren’t armed. I’ll just be sitting watching tv and the alarm goes off!

Yes, this alarm works but it also goes off randomly as well.

I’m kind of bummed. I set up a large network of this and in less than a month and a half all the sirens I added went bad: one arrived broken (smashed yet box was OK), one whines really loud if you plug it in, one just alarms by itself randomly a few times a day even when the control box doesn’t go off.

Don’t use this with a phone unless you like being bothered a lot. Don’t use with close neighbors or else they’ll call the cops who will CITE you (a ticket that costs you money) for a false alarm (a couple times per week).

I’m bummed this thing had gone so bad. It was awesome the first few weeks.

It still works as an alarm, but it will also wake you in the middle of the night. It will…
